THE FLXME SYSTEM
The FLXME system is a proprietary system of personalized, assisted stretches. It was developed by LeRoi de Leon, who teaches in the University of Toronto's Department of Kinesiology. LeRoi is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and has over fifteen years of hands-on assisted stretching experience. The system has been peer-reviewed and approved by physicians and physiotherapists.
The FLXME system is unique in that it is based on a standardized assessment; uses multiple stretching techniques, and takes into account widely varying levels of range of motion. FLXME stretch therapists are trained to pay close attention to how far they can stretch you, and respond to your assessment of the intensity of each stretch.
Using the FLXME system your stretch therapist will:
review your health history, and assess your mobility, pain and stiffness
deliver a series of stretches appropriate for you. The stretches will incorporate a range of techniques including Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), Static Passive Stretching, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF).
