Menashe is a Manual Osteopath and Stretch Therapist at Flxme. He specializes in treating people with chronic back and joint pain. After graduating with a University degree in Kinesiology and Health Science, Menashe studied Osteopathy and is a qualified Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. He believes maintaining good flexibility is one of the most important factors in bodily health.
Therese holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Kinesiology with Dean’s Honours. Since completing her degree, she has worked in rehabilitation and physiotherapy clinics. She demonstrates extensive knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, and the application of modalities.
She believes that regardless of age or fitness level, everyone can benefit from stretching. It improves and maintains flexibility and mobility, improves bad posture, relieves pain, relaxes the body and reduces the risk of injury.
Emily, BA (Kin), Reg. Kin., Stretch Therapist
Emily is a registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. She has an Undergraduate Degree in Kinesiology from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University, where she graduated with Dean's honours.
Following university, Emily worked as a Registered Kinesiologist in both physiotherapy and sports medicine clinics. She holds a certification in kinesiology taping and in soft tissue release level 1.
In her spare time, Emily volunteers for a number of charities and has a passion for travel and humanitarian work.
Hammad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University, where he graduated with Dean's honours. He is currently working on a Masters of Science degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto.
He believes it is important to stretch, especially given the many hours many of us spend sitting down in front of the computer. Along with exercise, he believes that stretching keeps the body balanced, loose, and contributes to an overall positive feeling.
Andrea is our most experienced therapist. She has a wealth of knowledge, experience and certifications in health and wellness. She has her Level 2 Fascial Stretch Therapy certification, she is a Registered Naturotherapist and she has expertise in functional nutrition, exercise and mobility, neuromuscular therapy, fascia therapy and trigger point and myofascial release.
Andrea has experience dealing with a number of health and wellness-related issues including lack of mobility, medical conditions, injuries, PTSD, poor posture, poor range of motion, sleep disorder, loss of flexibility and pain management. Andrea loves helping people who have not found success with mainstream medicine.
Tommy is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and has his Level 1 certification in Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST). After graduating from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, Tommy pursued his Level 1 certification in Fascial Stretch Therapy. Tommy believes the nervous system plays an integral role in how we perceive musculoskeletal pain and tightness. Using slow, rhythmic, and firm stretches, he aims to gradually relax the nervous system to release tight fascia, muscles, and joints.
Tommy believes that lasting changes come from a combination of passive and active remedies, so he will provide self-care exercises suited for your condition.
